Our director has always wanted to make sure that students felt that they were having fun while they learned. there were a few classes that ended up. having students memorize things , read books and write speeches according to their academic needs. they used the mornings to have students catch up on delayed academic work. I discussed you. using a more Montessori. friendly style of allow. students to choose their own activities to do in the. mornings. I. sent out a survey to the teachers just to make sure that student behavior was improving. due to the less stressful morning routine. Mourning impact.

I wanted to make sure teachers could easily see how our methods of improvement discussed in our PLC meetings were panning out. We would go over details of which subjects were being taught that elicited more or less engagement, who was using the least and most English, etc. I used a few resources to build this spreadsheet so that we could adhere to US common core standards.

I shared a document with just teachers to discuss things they needed or wanted to during our PLC meetings. In the event that there was an ongoing issue, I reported it to management. In the event of great success with any part of the curriculum or new method of teaching, I reported back to management as a policy possibility.
