Reflections on Improving a School from Infancy to Adolescence

I am quite sure the mission and vision could be a bit clearer so that all stakeholders can contextualize them in their daily school routine and participation expectations. In its current state, the explanation that our principal gives doesn't seem to match up succinctly to the school mission provided on the website. Based on this reality and the preliminary survey results, I want to focus on teacher training and curriculum evaluation or review for my improvement plan.

2021 Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality education and childcare in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment that builds a foundation for life-long learning and relationships.

2023 Mission

Our mission is to prepare children to confidently embrace challenges as adaptable, empathetic global citizens who will be active contributors to the ever-changing world.

My Idea for the Mission

Our mission is to establish a creativity inclusive environment using a STEAM based curriculum that sets a foundation for life-long learning and leadership starting at the preschool level.

My Idea of a Vision

We aim to equip children with the necessary tools to become primary school ready not only academically, but also in terms of exhibiting model social skills, creative innovation and integrity.

3522 Proposal for Future Resource Allocations

The old school had enough space to be at preschool child height, but our new building does not. There are a few problems with this board setup for effective engagement as class sizes grow.
